Spatial Imbalance, Dynamic Evolution and Convergence of the Digital Economy: Analysis Based on Panel Data of 278 Cities in China

Accelerating the development of digital economy is way to build a modern industrial system and promote sustainable development. In order accurately analyze status China’s economy, this study introduced text analysis method construct an index surveyed based on panel data 278 Chinese cities from 2011 2019. Moran’s I index, Dagum Gini coefficient, kernel density Markov chain were used reveal space-time difference dynamic change characteristics. Considering impact spatial correlation regional division convergence, we compared σ values convergence characteristics after grouping with decision tree method. The research showed that had greatly improved, but it significant imbalance. according their geographical distribution grade was increasingly different, there no feature. We chose continuous classification variables divide into 10 groups investigate convergence. results decreased significantly indicating affected by location basis.
